Human Rights Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm by the Department . As part of the celebration, a poster making competition was organized to raise awareness about human rights and their importance. Assistant Prof. Jaswinder Kaur of the Department of Political Science addressed the students and informed them about the Universal Declaration of Human Rights by the United Nations. Her talk emphasized the importance of human rights in shaping a just and equitable society.The students participated with enthusiasm and made impressive posters highlighting various aspects of human rights. Bhaavya of +1 Arts bagged the first prize, while Tanu of +1 Arts bagged the second prize. The third prize went to Kirandeep of +2 Arts and Sakshi of +1 Arts. In-charge of Collegiate Block Sushma Sharma congratulated the winners and appreciated all the participants for their creativity and active participation. Faculty members Monica, Ruhi and Nitika were also present in the program.
